Unmet Needs Identification at Clinical Hospital Centre Rijeka

In a recent workshop held at the Clinical Hospital Centre Rijeka, our regional partner in the HealthChain project, we witnessed an enthusiastic response from our esteemed colleagues. During this engaging session, participants were encouraged to reflect on their unmet needs within the hospital. This initiative is a crucial step in our participation in the HealthChain project, which seeks to promote digital transformation in healthcare through innovation and collaboration. This process started on September 27, 2023, and will continue until the end of October 2023.

The primary goal of this phase is to identify unmet needs within the hospital’s operations and clinical practices in collaboration with healthcare professionals and patients. By recognizing these needs, we pave the way for innovative solutions that can significantly enhance healthcare delivery. These solutions will be developed in partnership with digital health companies as part of the HealthChain project which will be selected through the upcoming Expression of Interest and Financial Support to third Parties (FSTP) calls, which aims to select two digital SMEs to pilot innovative solutions addressing these identified needs.

The Expression of Interest and FSTP calls represent an opportunity for digital SMEs to collaborate with us in developing solutions that directly address the challenges identified within the KBCRI.
