Expression of Interest is now Open: Innovative European regions wanted!

HealthChain is looking for five (5) Mirror Regions interested in implementing the HealthChain model in their region. As full partners in the HealthChain Consortium, they will benefit from specialized training and funding, empowering them to drive innovation in healthcare.

What is a Mirror Region?

A Mirror Region is an ecosystem stakeholder (RDA, Cluster organisation, DIH, etc.) that can link with a healthcare organisation who can propose an unmet need in digital healthcare and is available to co-create a digital health solution with an SME. Additionally, the ecosystem stakeholder should be able to launch an open call, using Financial Support to Third Parties, to select an innovative SME to pilot the solution.

Funding Opportunities and Eligibility

The selected Mirror Regions that will become partners, will receive the budget of 96.300 EUR, funded 70%. The breakdown will be 38.000 for personnel costs, 2.000 for one trip to the face-to-face training session and will also receive 50.000 euros for FSTP (Financial Support ot Third Parties).

The applicants must be I3 eligible countries (European Union member states). Less developed and transitioning regions will be prioritised over more developed.

The Expression of Interest is open unti November 30th, 2023, at 17:00 CET. HealthChain consortium will select five (5) Mirror Regions based on criteria including relevance, quality and impact.
